Construction Joints
Construction joints in strip and trench foundations shall be suitably formed. Where a engineered designed solution is provided it must be followed.
Tying-in of the construction can be formed using steel dowels or purpose made expanded metal lath to the face of the construction joint.
All shuttering should be removed before work continues beyond the construction joint.
