Paving
Appropriate access shall be provided to and around the property, considering drainage, width and minimum sub-base thickness.
Minimum dimensions of paving around the property dependant on location and use.
Paving set at 150mm below DPC with a suitable cross fall of 1:40.
Gravel strip along the side of property to reduce splash.
Paving should be laid tightly abutted with consistent surface levels.
The sub-base comprising of a 100mm thickness of clean, consolidated crushed hardcore (maximum size 75mm) finished with Blinding.
Paving slab bedded fully in 25mm 1:4 cement: sand mortar or suitable alternative.
Patios formed 150mm below DPC.
Recessed drain covers used with block paving.
Coursing should be consistent with block paving.
