Services
The provision of any service or appliance within a garage shall be in accordance with building regulations. Issues to be taken into account include protection against moisture and frost, and risk of fire and explosion.
Armoured cable run from consumer unit or switched fused spur below ground to garage.
Cable to run through ducting at least 600mm below finish ground level.
External grade sockets and switches should be used or provide DPC behind back boxes.
