Catalyst pearls are a minion type entity added in liminus, of which are craftable.

Catalyst pearls lack a normal spawn egg as they are spawned via an item of the same name.

On death, catalyst pearls will convert to their item form 100% of the time, and can be spawned back from it.

If the player the Catalyst pearl is following dies, they will also die ; and if the player is on a server and leaves, their pearl will kill itself.

Pearls also have access to a wide variety of bolt spells.

This requires The between awakens to be installed as it uses willpower residue.

Even though spells need to be unlocked, the pearls will always start with the ability to perform their basic homing bolt, meaning the first spell scroll is wasted.

Stances :

passive , pearls will attack nothing.

defensive, pearls will attack anything attacking the player they are following.

discriminate, pearls will only attack what the player is attacking.

indiscriminate, pearls will attack practically everything.

Formations

Stay, pearls will not move for any reason

Patrol, pearls will move when attacking and stay where they end up

Orbit, pearls will follow the player

Return, pearls will return to the player's inventory

spell scrolls are extremely rare items dropped by Pearl amalgams on death that will unlock the spells in the command staff menu.
