Band Class Fees

Several years ago, the band boosters created a $35 class fee to help defer some of the costs for the purchase of sheet music as well as guest instructors. We’d like to ask your help in supporting our classroom programs. Our band program is amazing and our students receive a top- notch musical education; however, we know that with extra help, our students gain so much more. Mr. Loehr has set up a program to bring in instrument-specific instructors to help our students grow musically. Unfortunately, the band program receives no extra funding from the county so without this fee, we often do without. While band class is and always will be free to all WHS students, the more families who are willing and able to pay this voluntary class fee, the more we will be able to offer students.
