Norms and Expectations
Leave it better than you found it: This means make sure you take all your trash and recycling to the proper location, make sure you leave your site debris-free and please clean up after your pets. We try to keep the land debris-free, but if you see something that doesn’t belong, please collect it and discard appropriately.
Respect other visitors: Most guests come here to get away from human-generated noise and poor air quality, so please no loud music or drumming (unless we are all around the campfire!), respect the quiet hours of 10 pm to 8 am and please no smoking.
Use resources wisely: Part of our mission is to be sustainable inhabitants of our planet So, please use only the amount of firewood that you need, conserve water and do you best to follow sustainable practices - avoid single-use plastics if possible, rely on natural light to limit energy use, etc.
Respect our plant and animal brothers and sisters: Observe the abundant wildlife from afar - we are in their space. Use only fallen wood for campfires. For flowers and leaves, follow the adage “One to three, let them be. Four to 20, one is plenty. Twenty or more, you may have four:.
Promote peace: We are adamantly anti-racist, anti-homophobic and anti-transphobic. Take each interaction with fellow guests as a chance to practice kindness and patience. We do not allow firearms or weapons on site.
