Soleil is a small-town farm girl who moved out into a big city. She currently lives right outside of New Orleans, attending community college where she is studying dance (specializing in ballet). On top of that, she is pursuing a career in music, wanting break through in the arts and culture scene in the city. To keep the bills paid, Soleil works full-time at Starbucks.

She grew up rather spoiled and has an entitlement issue she's working on growing out of. As the much younger sister and the only girl in the family, her mother couldn't help but give her everything she wanted when she was a little girl. Now that she's living alone, however, Soleil is quickly realizing the harsh realities of being an adult, and it's harder than she imagined. Her older brother, Ford, is often helicoptering over her with spontaneous visits to her apartment.

Caught up in the glitz and glamour, Soleil often pretends to be someone she's not just for the sake of fitting in. And that often leads to lots of drunk girls' nights out and bad decisions when it comes to boys and buying things that she can't afford. Admittedly, she's a hopeless romantic and a bit boy-crazy.
