I chose to do the right thing.

I resigned from Primerica, surrendered my securities licenses, and walked away from everything I had built — just to be able to speak the truth. That decision gave birth to DTRT Financial. Not just a company, but a movement.

I’m not your typical advisor in a suit and tie, chasing commissions and pushing what pays the most. I’m just a regular guy who got fed up watching people get misled, overcharged, and under-informed. I use my platform to expose the truth about cash value life insurance, and more importantly, to educate the masses so they can be intentional with their money.

I’m bold, honest, and unapologetically committed to doing the right thing — even when it’s not the easy thing. That’s what DTRT stands for. That’s who I am.

In the late ’70s, Art Williams started a crusade that flipped the life insurance industry on its head. He exposed the truth about whole life insurance and told families to stop overpaying for the wrong product. His message was simple: Buy Term and Invest the Difference. That crusade gave birth to Primerica, and it helped millions of families take control of their financial future.

Fast forward to today—I’m picking up  where that crusade left off.

After over a decade in the industry and building an agency of more than 250 licensed agents, I saw what most people don’t. I saw how the game changed. I saw how cash value life insurance made a comeback—this time with flashier names, aggressive marketing, and even more confusion.

      And I couldn’t stay silent.

So I stepped away. I surrendered my securities licenses, resigned from Primerica, and launched DTRT Financial—not to sell, but to expose.

Art went knee cap to knee cap 40 years ago, correcting an injustice face-to-face. Today, that battle is happening on social media—post for post, video for video, truth vs. sales pitch. Everyone tried to shut Art down. And now, every cash value agent is trying to shut me down—with personal attacks, with character digs, with my background.

      But just like Art, I’m not backing down.

Art fought against whole life. I’m fighting against IULs, VULs, and all the dressed-up cash value products that still put commissions ahead of families.

                        This isn’t a job.

This is a movement.

This is about doing the right thing—even when it costs everything.
