News & Upcoming Events

August 25th, 2018 - The Assembly is pleased to announce the date of our annual Harvest Moot Festival! Stay tuned for more details!

Upcoming Events:

Winter 2017 (Ongoing)

Warm Winter Wear Drive:

We're collecting warm winter wear & blankets to be donated to local homeless shelters and individuals. If you have any coats, hats, gloves, blankets, scarves, etc. that you'd like to donate, please bring them to any ACDP event or meeting. This effort is ongoing through the whole winter season (which, as you probably know, lasts about 9 months around here), so it's never too late to clean out your closets! If you have any questions about this drive, please contact us.

Next General Assembly Meeting:

The next ACDP General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 21st, 2018 at 6:30pm at the Cohoes Public Library.

Next Coffee Date:

TBA! These events have been a great deal of fun so far, and we will definitely set up another one soon, so keep a look out for the date.

February 11th, 2018

Our second coffee date was as well-attended and entertaining as the first. We definitely plan to continue to host these little get-togethers through the year, to foster community, conversation, and networking for all our members. Thanks to everyone who attended.

January 14th, 2018

We were excited to host the first (of hopefully many) Coffee Date of 2018! Coffee, conversation, and kvetching. This non-ritual, social event was aimed at helping to foster connection and community among local Pagans and supporters, and was very well-attended. It was a pleasure to hang with you all for the afternoon!

December 17th, 2017

The ACDP was pleased to celebrate Yule on December 17th, 2017 with The Nemeton of the Ways, a local Druid grove who was kind enough lead us in a short public ritual at the Crossings in Colonie. Although it was cold, thanks were given, trees were wassailed, lessons about community were heard and learned, and a squirrel stole one of our rugelach. We look forward to our next public ritual, which we anticipate will be held to celebrate Ostara, or the Spring Equinox.
