The second tier of Israeli Football
16 teams
Teams play each other twice (30 games) then the league splits and points are halved
Promotion
After the league split the top 8 play each other once and the top 2 are promoted
Relegation
After the league split the bottom 8 play each other once and the bottom 2 are relegated
Third from bottom plays team from league below to remain in division
Other
There must be no more than 3 foreign players in the playing 11.
Players under 16 are not allowed to play
Upon expiry of their contracts, players aged 17-20 cannot move club unless both teams involved reach an agreement
Upon expiry of their contracts, players above the age of 21 will be assigned a minimum fee release clause (decided by a committee) if negotiations between two teams break down over their transfer.

Youth Recruitment
This determines how large a pool of players your team can recruit from. It is the size of your recruitment network. It increases your chances of getting the best young players from your area, nation and beyond.
Some clubs of course will have no youth recruitment at all, which means no youth intakes.
