• Teams play each other once (7 games)

• 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw

• Top 4 qualify for second phase

• Top 2 sides meet in Grand Final

Relegation

• No relegation (closed shop)

Other

• 7 subs named, maximum 3 used

• There must be no more than 5 foreign players in the playing 11

• Under-21 domestic players must play a combined total of 250 minutes of the 10 matches played. (Born after 31/12/1999)  Teams will be fined $10,000 if they fail to meet this threshold.

• Maximum squad size of 23 players

• Maximum of 7 foreign players

• Maximum Squad Salary of $19,500 p/w

• Possibly add South American Nations

*As always this is only a suggestion, the leagues listed are in order of importance, feel free to run as many or as little leagues as you think your system can handle.  The setup above gives a nice regional feel.  

It is advisable however to run as many top tier leagues of major nations as you can to keep the continental club competitions competitive
