When I courageously published From Pain To Purpose in 2017, I didn't know it will have the impact it has today. Seriously, I knew it would benefit some people, but I didn't know it would benefit far more people than I imagined.

I remember when Samson of Authorpedia delivered the books to my home. Fresh from the press, I was excited. I quickly autographed a copy for him and started to do same for pre-ordered copies. The feeling of birthing a timeless piece is indescribable.

Few days later, reality dawned on me and I thought to myself, Bashirat: now that you've written and published 1,000 copies of this book, so what? How will you sell over 900 copies of this book? Who will buy them? It was my first time publishing a book and I had no idea how to market it. So, I started to learn and test the waters. 4 years later, I have since sold out the book and published two others in paperback and also cashed out on them.

Some time ago, a sister posted a comment about my book #Frompaintopurpose She wrote and I quote:

"... It is a book I read whenever I start to feel ungrateful for the things that I don't have."

And a few nights ago, another lady by name Ameenah commented under my post:

"I'm currently re-reading your book From Pain To Purpose. I'm reconnecting to your world as never before."

So going by the reviews I get about my book From Pain To Purpose... 1 person reads it multiple times and then passes it to a friend or family member. From personal feedback, for every copy of the book that gets into a household, not less than 3 persons read it. And for everyone that connected with the book, they always went back to it for a dose courage. Wow! So it's safe to say having printed 1,000 copies, the book has been read up to 5,000 times in Africa, America, Canada and the UK.
