The Wonderful Strange
Visual Gold.
PHOTO OF THE MONTH
This photograph was a part of the "The Divine Feminine" photoshoot. I named the shoot after Mac Miller's fourth album, because the colors and mood of the photos remined me to the soft beauty in that album. I especially love this photo simply because of the story behind it. The beautiful woman in this photo was hesitant to have her pictures taken, and this is the first time I would be the one taking them. I was insistent regardless. Something about a camera can capture a persons essence, even if it's deep beneath their surface. In this case, my camera captured her. Her gentle confidence dripping off the glow that is her femininity.

Although my original passion is film, I found some similar zeal in the art of photos. I have been in my high school's Audio/Visual class for 3 years, equaling 3 years of experience with cameras and lighting etc. Academically, i've come somewhat far, but I have been doing film since I was very young.
From the beauty of the outdoors to the majesty of wildlife, these are my favorite photos that I've taken of nature.
Although there is art and uniqueness in editorial photography, there is nothing wrong with a casual but still beautiful photoshoot, whether its business, event, or just personal.
Where my love of music meets my love of photographs, these photoshoots are based and themed around specific songs and melodies and brought to life.
My love for all things theater comes to light through these small but beautiful moments captured through it all.
