The music and worship ministry plays a vital role in the life of Good Hope. We offer vibrant, God-honoring and scripturally-based music. Although our Sunday morning worship service music tends to be more contemporary than traditional, we claim to be neither and we are drawn to both. Our purpose is to lift up and glorify God through music and the Word as we lead others into His presence. Our aim is to point people to Him. We are honored to serve in this calling. Each campus shares the same mission, to reach out to the world around us and share the everlasting love of Jesus Christ, but is uniquely different in how they live that out through various forms of worship, ministry, prayer and service in the community and beyond.

God has called us to Fredericksburg to love our community well! This means pouring our lives, hearts and resources into Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, Stafford, King George here locally while partnering around the world to bring the love of God to the nations. We invite you to join us as we seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus everywhere that God calls us!

Our Christmas Eve service is a special service where we come together to fix our hearts and minds on the reason for the season, the birth of Jesus, through music from our choir and orchestra and a special message from Pastor Tommy. Our orchestra will begin the pre-service music at 5:30 pm, with the service following at 6:00 pm.

Our Music Ministry Pastor Kendall Lucas has assembled a Spotify playlist of the songs the choir and orchestra will be playing as well as songs we as a congregation we will sing together this Christmas season. We hope it helps prepare your heart for Christmas as well as our worship services.

The mission of the Health & Spiritual Wellness ministry is simply to educate and assist the Hopewell family in living a life that promotes good health as our souls prosper with good spiritual health. What areas are under attack in the church family? We are attacked in grief, afflictions, poor diet and exercise and poor lifestyles. Through the umbrella or under the umbrella of By His Stripes, Recreation, Nurses, Mercy and the Health ministries we aim to live higher spiritually and physically for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thanks to the wonderful, godly influence of faithful men in my church (Rhodes Christian Center), I learned to play the guitar so that I could lead worship and use music to share the Gospel. Upon matriculation, I declined the academic route offered with prestigious scholarships (God had blessed me academically), and chose to attend a practical, non- diploma ministry school for two years, interrupted by a mandatory military call-up.

We raised our children in this foreign land, and God has granted that they, too, should love and serve Him with their whole hearts. My wife and I continue to minister His grace all over the world, and have had the privilege of carrying the torch of His testimony on five continents. Jesus Christ is everything to us, and to give our lives in His service is no sacrifice at all.
