Showcasing excellence and competitiveness in academics, Blue Dragons got first place in Battle of the Brains last April 19, in line with SCHOOLYMPICS 2024, held at the Senior High School (SHS) Audio Visual Room. 

The contest was represented by five students on each team namely, Blue Dragons, Red Griffins, Yellow Phoenix, and Pink Unicorn. 

Program started at 1:30 p.m. with an opening prayer and singing of the national anthem. Reading of guidelines was done by Henrico Sernal, one of the SHS faculty and the quiz master. 

The quiz was composed of five subjects namely, English, Filipino, Science, Math, and General Interests. Each subject is composed of ten questions. 

After the quiz, the announcement of winners was done wherein Blue Dragons was announced as the first place, Red Griffins as the second place, Yellow Phoenix as third place, and Pink Unicorn got the fourth place. 

From the Blue Dragons, they got Chelsea Sarmiento, Allysa Guinoo, Cris John Foo, Gian Ignao, and Jose Velasco bagging the First place. Garnering Second place, Moesha Obias, Alfred Buensalida, Sebastian Castro, Martin Rabino, and Denise Abaño represented the Red Griffins. From Yellow Phoenix, they have Cenon Elevado, Angeline Guevarra, Samara Cervas, Lychza Tagum and Ashton Javier, while Shekinah Tud, Joshua Cervas, Ezra Ibias, Earl Martinez, and Mahen Kariappan represented the Pink Unicorn.
