Makes 1 litre
Ingredients:
1 cup of lemon juice (4 lemons)
3 cups of water
⅔ cup of sugar
1 cup of ice
Bring 1 cup of water and the sugar to a boil in a saucepan. When the sugar has dissolved, remove from heat and cool the simple syrup in the fridge. Juice the lemons and strain as desired. Combine lemon juice, simple syrup, water and ice and store in the fridge for up to a week.
Notes: Final Recipe
Add fresh lemons, limes, raspberries, mint, or strawberries if desired.
For raspberry lemonade, use the raspberry simple syrup from this recipe instead of regular simple syrup.
Half a cup of sugar works for this recipe.
