PART 1: PRIVACY POLICY
1. The "Local-First" Principle
PDF Editor - Fill & Sign is designed as a local utility tool.
No Cloud Storage: We do not provide cloud storage. All PDF documents, images used for scanning, and digital signatures are stored strictly on your local device.
No Content Access: The Pearl Crew cannot see, read, or share the content of your documents.
2. Permissions & Why We Need Them
To function as a professional document manager, we require the following:
All Files Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Necessary to scan your entire storage to find, list, and manage (rename/move) PDF and Office files.
Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE): Ensures that critical tasks like "Fill & Sign" or audio playback of work materials aren't killed by the system when you switch apps.
Camera: Used only when you use the "Scan to PDF" feature.
3. Third-Party Services (Ads & Analytics)
We use AdMob, Mintegral, AppLovin, and Firebase to support the app. These services may collect:
Device identifiers (GAID), IP address, and basic usage statistics.
This data is used for personalized advertising and app performance optimization.
PART 2: TERMS OF SERVICE (USER AGREEMENT)
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using PDF Editor - Fill & Sign, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the application immediately.
2. License & Usage
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive license to use this app for personal or professional document editing.
Prohibited Acts: You may not attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or bypass the security of the app.
3. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
"As-Is" Basis: The app is provided without warranties. While we strive for 100% stability, we are not liable for any data loss caused by device failure or accidental deletion.
Document Security: Since data is stored locally, you are responsible for backing up your own important documents.
4. Subscription & Billing (If Applicable)
If we offer premium features via In-App Purchases, billing is handled directly by the Google Play Store. Subscriptions can be managed in your Play Store account settings.
5. Compliance with Regional Laws
US Users: This agreement is governed by the laws of the United States.
Japan Users: We comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI).
Taiwan Users: We respect the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
