I guess that does make sense, (idea pops into mind) what if we can do moon colones? That can be the alpha version of PP and maybe it can provide a slow amount of moon ores. I know there is moon mining, but what if we can also have the colonies, (of course there can only be one type, station moon mining or colony moon mining)

Interesting. With a decent quality planet making P2, you can alternate between alpha and omega and probably harvest half as much during your alpha month as you do during the Omega month - or simply resub when the launchpad fills up. Hard to believe this is intended behaviour.

Every chapter and colony is special but this one is near and dear to me because I had the privilege and honor of being the Prospective Member Educator for the Founding Line of the Prairie View A&M Colony. It brings me great joy to see these guys excel and blaze a trail, in spite of many challenges and in spite of having been counted out time and time again. On Campus Presence and Involvement: Due to their presence in the Prairie View A&M University College of Architecture, the brothers at PV are involved with the American Institute of Architecture Students, The Association of General Contractors, and the National Association of Home Builders. Colony President Javier Candela is currently the president of AIAS while Erick Garcia serves as Vice President of the NAHB. The colony also has a strong relationship with the Office of Multicultural Affairs on campus.

Background and aims: Hypercholesterolaemia is associated with a reduced number of circulating progenitor cells, a defect that is restored by statin therapy. We studied the effect of rosuvastatin monotherapy or its combination with omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (-3 PUFAs) on progenitor cell number and function in patients with mixed dyslipidaemia.

Methods: Fifty patients with mixed dyslipidaemia and fifty-five normolipidaemic, apparently healthy, age- and sex-matched volunteers participated in the study. Patients were randomized to receive a daily dose of either 40 mg rosuvastatin (R group, n = 26) or 10 mg rosuvastatin plus 2 g of -3 PUFAs (R + O group, n = 24). The number of circulating CD34(+) and CD34(+)/KDR(+) progenitor cells as well as the number of colony-forming units-endothelial cells (CFU-ECs) at 10 days of culture were assessed at baseline and 3 months post-treatment.

Omega-3 is an essential polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) that most animals need to acquire in their diet. Mammalian brains are rich in docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), a long-chain form of omega-3, whose deficiency, coupled with a high omega-6:3 ratio, leads to numerous cognitive disorders and mental diseases. Insects have only trace amounts of long-chain PUFAs, and the effect of omega-3 deficiency on cognition has not been studied. We found that omega-3 deficiency greatly impaired honey bee learning, extending the finding of the importance of omega-3 to a nonmammal, despite lack of DHA in its brain. Furthermore, our analyses of pollens suggest that many managed colonies are experiencing a shift in available forage toward a higher omega-6:3 ratio, which may be leading to colony declines.

Results: Under metformin treatment, the 3 cell lines revealed 57 common altered metabolites, of which 30 had consistent direction change. The enrichment analysis of the commonly upregulated metabolites indicated a universal increase of the omega-3 biosynthetic pathway, including alpha-linolenic and linoleic acid metabolism (P < 0.001). Treatments with EPA or DHA, the most common lipids from the pathway, resulted in a significant dose-dependent inhibition of proliferation in all 5 cell lines (P < 0.001). EPA and DHA potentiated carboplatin cytotoxicity in all cell lines (P < 0.05). Significant inhibition of colony formation was also noted with EPA and DHA (P < 0.01). Treatment with EPA and DHA significantly improved the survival of mice bearing SKOV3 and CaOv3 xenograft tumors (P < 0.01).

Conclusion: Metformin treatment resulted in increase of omega-3 fatty acid metabolism. Both EPA and DHA, metabolites of the pathway, inhibited ovarian cancer cell proliferation alone and in combination with carboplatin, as well as increased survival in ovarian cancer mouse models. Thus, the cytotoxic effect of metformin may be partially mediated through upregulation of omega-3 lipids.

An effective discrete artificial bee colony(DABC) algorithm is proposed for the flow shop scheduling problem with intermediate buffers (IBFSP) in order to minimize the maximum completion time (i.e makespan). The effective combination of the insertion and swap operator is applied to producing neighborhood individual at the employed bee phase. The tournament selection is adopted to avoid falling into local optima, while, the optimized insert operator embeds in onlooker bee phase for further searching the neighborhood solution to enhance the local search ability of algorithm. The tournament selection with size 2 is again applied and a better selected solution will be performed destruction and construction of iterated greedy (IG) algorithm, and then the result replaces the worse one. Simulation results show that our algorithm has a better performance compared with the HDDE and CHS which were proposed recently. It provides the better known solutions for the makespan criterion to flow shop scheduling problem with limited buffers for the Car benchmark by Carlier and Rec benchmark by Reeves.
