The "Literacy Lane" project aims to transform the dead end on Bryant Street in Kalamazoo, Michigan into a vibrant and visually engaging space, highlighting the significance of literacy and the Kalamazoo Literacy Council (KLC). The project involves murals on the street, surrounding boards, and a bridge entrance, reflecting various facets of literacy, local history, and culture. Collaboratively designed with the community and KLC stakeholders, the project intends to contribute to the identity and character of Kalamazoo while emphasizing the importance of literacy.
