Parents and Scholars, 

We are planning an exciting end of year celebration for our 8th grade class and need you to make it successful! To cover the cost of activities, dues are $120. Please do not let the cost stop participation. Please contact me if you have any issues djohnson@7pillarsca.org.  

Payments should be made via Cash App to $7PCA. Place your scholar's name and 8th-grade dues in the subject line of your payment. Zelle Payments can be made to jwillis@7pillarsca.org.

Dues include a class t-shirt ($15), one field trip ($50), cookout food and amenities ($10), prom expenses ($25) (i.e., DJ, refreshments, decorations, photographer), graduation; venue, awards, refreshments, etc. and cap and gown ($20)

• 8th-grade dues are reduced to $120

• The dues will be due by April 1, 2024. Feel free to pay early! 

8th-grade Cookout

• The 8th cookout is TBD.

• Field Day events will be coordinated with Coach Rio and the rest of the student body. 

8th-grade Prom 

• The prom (Sneaker Ball) will be held on a 7PCA Day Friday, May 10. Lake Spivey Golf Club, 8255 Clubhouse Way, Jonesboro, GA 30236

8th-grade Moving On Ceremony Date is May 20, 2024 @ 6:15 PM (Rehearsal will be held at the church, Thursday May 16 @ 1pm-3pm)

Scholars will wear caps and gowns for the ceremony. 

We still ask that they wear the outfit outlined below. 

• Moving - On Ceremony - Traveler’s Rest Missionary Baptist Church 

• Our program will begin promptly at 6:15 p.m. 

• Colors: Black and White  

• Attire: White tops; Black bottoms; black and /or white dresses

• Shoes 

• No shorts or jeans  

Guidelines to remember.

• Appropriate dress is required for the dance and ceremony.
