Vale: Thank you so much for letting us interview you today, Mr. Wayne.
Wayne: Of course! It's a pleasure to be here.
Vale: Now, Mr. Wayne--
Bruce: Please, Vicki, call me Bruce. We've known each long enough to drop the Mr. Wayne stuff.
Vale: Right, of course. Now Bruce, there's been quite a few rumors flying around about a possible addition to your family.
Bruce: Has there? I'm afraid I've been so busy that I haven't noticed.
Vale: Yes, photos have been blowing up on social media of your youngest, Damian, wrestling with a boy who looks just like him on the floor of a BatBurger.
Bruce: Ah, yes, that would be Danny. They're both getting so rambunctious these days! As much as I love to see Danny getting comfortable in Gotham, he definitely is getting harder to keep up with. I suppose that's just how it goes with teenagers.
Vale: So you know this boy? Danny, you said his name was.
Bruce: Yes. Danny came to us very recently.
Vale: He's living with you?
Bruce: He is. We're very glad to have him home with us.
Vale: So this has been a long time coming?
Bruce: I should hope so! Damian has been looking forward to reuniting with Danny for years. I am just sorry that it took us so long to make it happen.
Vale: Hold on, you say Damian wanted to reunite with Danny. What exactly do you mean by that?
Bruce: Well, Danny and Damian are twins!
Vale: They're twins?!
Bruce: Oh, oh shoot! I had promised Damian that I wouldn't let that slip.
Vale: Don't worry, Bruce. Your secret is safe with me.
Bruce: Of course, thank you, Vicki.
Vale: Now, back to the topic at hand... if Danny is Damian's twin then this means that he's also your biological son, right? How come he didn't come to live with you when Damian did?
Bruce: Ah, that's a bit of a sore subject. There's only so much of the story I can say right now--we're still working out some of the legal issues. What I can say is that the twins got separated when they were both 8. Their mother had fallen on some hard times and she had to give Danny up. 2 years later, she did the same with Damian. Fortunately, I was able to find and take Damian in at the time, but we had a hard time finding where Danny had ended up. Right now we're working with Wayne Enterprises' lawyers to make Danny's home permanently with us.
Vale: I see... I suppose this has something to do with your recent trip out to Wisconsin?
Bruce: I can't really say, now can I, Vicki?
Vale: That red tape really has got you wrapped up, huh? Well, can you tell us a bit about how Danny came to you?
Bruce: Again, I can't say much. However, he was in an unsafe situation back at his adoptive home. He managed to reconnect with Damian online. The boys had already been planning a trip out here to meet up again, so as much as I hate that one of my children was in a dangerous enough situation that he had to leave immediately, I am so incredibly grateful that he is safe at home with us.
Vale: I'm sure everyone in Gotham is thankful for Danny's safe return to his family. How has he been adjusting to his life here in Gotham?
Bruce: I have to give him immense credit, he's adjusted amazingly for a kid who's been through so much. Damian had a much harder time in comparison. It certainly helps that the rest of my kids have been more than okay taking the time to make him feel welcomed and accepted into the family.
Vale: That is absolutely wonderful. I'm sure you're proud of your kids.
Bruce: Of course! They've accepted their newest brother with open arms and have shown a lot of maturity. Honestly, having Danny home has helped Damian the most. He's gotten a lot less grumpy with the rest of his siblings now that Danny's come to live with us.
Vale: I suppose what they say about twins having a special bond is true then?
Bruce: Oh absolutely. Some days all they need is a look to have a full conversation.
Vale: Well, on behalf of the Gotham Gazette, I must say that we're all so glad that you've gotten your son back safe and sound.
Bruce: Well, the battle isn't over yet, but thank you so much Vicki. I really appreciate it.
Vale: Once the legal issues have been sorted out, do you think Danny would be open to having an exclusive interview with the Gotham Gazette as an official welcome to Gotham?
Bruce: *Laughing* well, I'll have to ask him! He's still getting used to having Bruce Wayne as a dad after all.
Vale: Of course. Please, let him know that we all wish him the best. Thank you so much for taking time to speak to us today, Bruce.
Bruce: Always! I love bragging about my kiddos. Cass actually has a dance recital coming up that she's been talking nonstop about. She's got her own solo, and I'm so excited to see her on the stage.
Vale: I'm sure that will be wonderful. Well, thank you again for talking with us and tune back in later for a story on the newest vigilante spotted around Gotham.
