Prof. Lee McIntyre
Boston University, USA
McIntyre is a Research Fellow at the Center for Philosophy and History of Science at Boston University and a recent Lecturer in Ethics at Harvard Extension School. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Michigan.
Prof. Tore Rye Andersen
Aarhus University, Denmark
Andersen is Associate Professor of Comparative Literature, Deputy Head of the School of Communication and Culture, and member of the board of Aarhus University. Moreover, he is a member of the board of Aarhus University Press.
Prof. Anne Roche
Aix-Marseille University, France
Roche is Professor Emerita at Université d’Aix-Marseille (AMU). She is the winner of the Walter Benjamin European Prize in 2018: Exercices sur le tracé des ombres. Walter Benjamin (Chemin de ronde 2010).
Prof. Jeroen Vandaele
Ghent University, Belgium
Vandaele (PhD KULeuven) teaches Literary Translation and Hispanic Literatures at Ghent University's Department of Translation, Interpreting and Communication. In the Fall of 2023, he was a Mare Balticum Fellow at Rostock University.

How to get to Edificio Marco Polo
Public Transport
From Termini Station
For those arriving by train: Termini Station is connected to Metro Line B. Take Metro Line B [direction: Rebibbia/Jonio] and get off at Policlinico station. Exit the station and take tram number 3 (direction: Trastevere) or tram 19 (direction: Gerani) and get off at Scalo San Lorenzo. The Marco Polo entrance is about 100 meters from the tram stop on foot. You can also take a taxi outside the station. If you’d like a walk, Marco Polo is about 30 minutes on foot from Termini.
From Tiburtina Station
Take bus number 163, 492, or 545 (direction: Verano) and get off at Piazzale Verano. From there, take tram number 3 (direction: Trastevere) or tram 19 (direction: Gerani) and get off at Scalo San Lorenzo. The Marco Polo entrance is about 100 meters on foot.
By Taxi
Taxis will take you directly to the entrance of Marco Polo Building (Viale dello scalo San Lorenzo 82| 00159 Rome). From there, simply follow the entrance to the Conference room.
