本研究は，近代資本主義の特徴を明らかにし，経済行為の倫理的な動機づけ，その社会的な信頼形成の機能を確認する．道徳的感情と義務に動機づけられた経済的活動には，近代資本主義初期の「倫理性」，「非営利性」が認められる．同様な資本主義的な経済活動であっても，その動機が問われる．

This study aims to clarify the characteristics of modern capitalism and to confirm the ethical motivation of economic behavior and its function of forming social trust.

Economic activities motivated by moral emotions and obligations are recognized to have the "ethics" and "non-profitability" of early modern capitalism.
