Photography Competition - "As You Like It"
Unleash your creativity and capture the world through your lens—there is no prescribed theme, so interpret “As You Like It” in your own unique way.
📌 Submission Guidelines
Each participant may submit a maximum of two photographs.
Images must be submitted in JPEG (.jpeg / .jpg) format only.
Participants are required to:
Upload their photographs via the Google Form (link provided below), and
Email the same submissions to: englishseminar.presidency@gmail.com
The email subject line must read: “Photography submission for PresiLitCon'26”
⚖️ Rules & Regulations
There is no institutional cap—multiple participants or teams from the same institution are welcome.
Use of any unfair means is strictly prohibited. Any violation will lead to immediate disqualification.

Oxford Debate - "Discourse Dias"
Engage in a dynamic exchange of ideas through the classic Oxford-style debate format, where persuasion, clarity, and critical thinking take center stage.
📌 Participation Guidelines
Participants must register in teams of two:
One speaker on the Proposition (FOR the motion)
One speaker on the Opposition (AGAINST the motion)
Cross-institutional teams are allowed.
There will be only one round.
The motion and speaking order will be released 24 hours prior to the debate.
⚖️ Rules & Regulations
A maximum of 15 teams will be accommodated, on a first-come-first-served basis.
Although the official registration deadline is 17th April 2026, registrations will close once the cap is reached.
There is no institutional cap—multiple teams from the same institution are welcome.
Team members may decide their stance (FOR/AGAINST) among themselves and must inform the judges and moderator just before their speech.
🗣️ Speaking time:
3 minutes for the main speech
1 minute for rebuttal
Referring to written material is allowed; however, reading directly from notes will lead to score deductions.
Use of digital devices (laptops, smartphones, tablets) is strictly prohibited during the debate.

Flash Fiction - "Ink Spark"
Step into the moment and let your creativity unfold in real time. This on-the-spot writing event challenges you to craft compelling narratives under pressure.
📌 Participation Guidelines
This is an on-spot competition.
Registration is open to all College/University students.
A specific theme or genre will be announced on the day of the event.
Participants will have 1 hour to complete and submit their work.
You may write in any form—prose, poetry, or otherwise.
⚖️ Rules & Regulations
Submissions must not exceed 700 words.
Please mention the word count at the end of your write-up.
All entries must be original and previously unpublished.
Participants must write on the sheets provided by the organisers.
Use of electronic devices is strictly prohibited during the competition.
The decision of the judges is final and binding.

Quiz - "Remembrance of Things Fast"
Test your knowledge, reflexes, and teamwork in an engaging multi-round quiz designed to challenge participants across a wide range of topics.
📌 Participation Guidelines
Participants must register in teams of two.
Cross-institutional teams are allowed.
The quiz will consist of:
A Preliminary Round, followed by The Final Round
⚖️ Rules & Regulations
There is no cap on the number of teams for the preliminary round.
Only 6 teams will qualify for the finals.
There is no institutional cap—multiple teams from the same institution are welcome.
