The following are the basic rules that are to be followed at all Ember Altar events:
This is a Risk Aware Consensual Kink (RACK) space. Play according to your level of skill, experience, and accepted risk.
Negotiate all scenes prior to play
Do not touch anyone without explicit permission
Yes means yes, no means no. Consent violators will be ejected and banned from all Ember Altar events. Report consent violations to a Priestess immediately.
These events are considered "open play" meaning others are welcome to ask to join a scene at any time. Group participation is encouraged but you withhold the right to refuse. If you do not want to be approached about participating in a scene, you may sit on or near one of the couches.
Submissives may not use furniture. They may bring a cushion, mat, blanket, knee pads, or other item for comfort.
Put down barriers between genitals and furniture or flooring, such as a personal cushion, towel, or puppy pad
Wipe down surfaces before and after play
Discuss any scene involving blood, wax, or other loud/messy play with a Priestess prior to beginning the scene
Photographers may be invited to these events and they are welcome to freely take photos. Photography is allowed at events by guests as well. If you do not wish you be photographed, it is your responsibility to ensure you do not appear in any photos. Please inform the Headmistress if you do not wish to have any photos of your face or distinguishing features published.
