Deleted Scene/Narrative

Lina gazed at the cold stones that surrounded her as she sat on the floor. Maybe, she should go downstairs for dinner. If she had long term embarrassment, it's not like it was going to last long anyways. She tenderly picked up the red dress and slipped it on over her white undershirt. She looked at herself intently in the mirror, inspecting every aspect of the dress. It was definitely intently the most expensive thing she had ever worn. Lina threw her blonde hair back into a low ponytail and put on her slippers. She had never been into the palace dining hall, and she had no idea what to expect. Would everyone be sitting up straight? Of course they would this is a palace for crying out loud. Subconsciously ciously, Lina began playing out scenes of how she would act once she got downstairs, before she promptly swatted herself in the face.

Stop, it Lina! This doesn't matter! She scowled. "Stupid! Stupid!"

As she was yelling into her hand, she saw an elderly woman approaching her from down the hall. Lina quickly moved her hand from her mouth down to the skirt of her dress, pretending to be smoothing it. The old lady smiled at her with cold eyes and walked right past Lina. Lina let out a breath and continued her journey down the corridor. Her routine walk was finally halted by two gigantic brass doors.

"This must be it."

Before she even had the chance to knock, the door was yanked open by a man in a gray suit. He motioned for her to move inside, and she followed suite.

The instant her eyes caught a glimpse of the room she was in awe. The walls and ceiling were decorated in silver, and her finally her line of sight met Eva's eyes, as the queen sat in the middle of the room.

"You're late."

Lina winced and set across from the brown-eyed girl. The three other people at the table watched Lina, but she did not notice that it was her red dress of which they were staring at.

Eva made no small talk with Lina, so Lina had nothing more to do than to just eat and observe what was around her. As she was glancing around the table, she noticed that one of the other women had blue nail polish that matched Eva's dress, and Eva had deep red nail polish that matched Lina's.

Did Eva give Lina the dress she was supposed to wear? What could that mean?
