True BIBLICAL Eternal Security!
What Does Romans 6:23 TRULY Mean?
Being Saved is Eternally Secure!
***What Does Romans 6:23 TRULY mean?
Here is Romans 6:23 from the KJV. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Notice that I have emphasised the phrase ETERNAL LIFE. Notice that eternal life is THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord, which can be read and understood as Jesus ANOINTED to be our Lord. Notice that the wages of sin is DEATH.
But what Calvinism, Reformed Theology, Grace Alone, and most Baptist churches focus all their attention on is the word GIFT.
They will say things like: “A gift is a gift and a gift is not EARNED!”
Some have said, “God would never give you a GIFT and then take that GIFT away from you!”
And that kind of preaching “tickles” the flesh’s ear, that’s good news to hear if the Whole word of Almighty God clearly teaches that no true-born-again Christian’s name can ever be blotted out of the book of life.
However, neither this verse nor its CONTEXT even remotely implies that the GIFT of eternal life can NEVER be LOST. That Reformed Theology meaning is read INTO this verse, and I will prove this truth to you in the in-depth study below.
This study will not “tickle” the ears of any Calvinisticir, Reformed Theology, Grace alone, and Baptist Christian, that do NOT want to hear and receive God’s TRUTH, because the FLESH does NOT want to hear God’s TRUTH!
Please understand that being “SAVED” is indeed ETERNALLY SECURE! However, receiving God’s GIFT of Eternal Life is CONDITIONAL upon REMAINING IN Jesus unto the END. The end being either when one dies physically, or when Jesus returns.

True BIBLICAL Eternal Security!
What Does Romans 6:23 TRULY Mean?
Being Saved is Eternally Secure!
Let’s begin this study by taking a closer look at the meaning of the word “GIFT” in the New Testament.
Here is a short story that will help you understand that a “GRUTUITY” is a GIFT for as a service that is rendered to the giver as being a REWARD.
The analogy is a waiter or waitress serving a customer.
And if the service given by the servant is not acceptable, then the one being served is not OBLIGATED to give a GIFT to that servant.
This verse is about receiving Eternal Life. Death is promised to be received as the wages or payment for sinners.
And the whole context of Romans 6:1-22 is all about the WORKS of the SERVANT of God and NOT serving sin. I will only quote verses 1, 2, and 22, but I highly suggest you read and study the whole context.
Romans 6:1,2 and 22.
“Romans 6:1. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Romans 6:2. God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? …
…Romans 6:22. But now being made free from sin, and have become SERVANTS to God, you have your fruit unto holiness, and the END everlasting life.”
Let’s read the definition of the Greek word translated as “GIFT” in the KJV, the Kings James Version of the Bible.
Here is the definition of the Greek word that is “translated” as “gift” in Romans 6:23. Notice that the first meaning is “GRATUITY”, and the GIFT of God is a Divine “gratuity” of Eternal Life! Not an obligation.
G5486
χάρισμα
charisma
char'-is-mah
From G5483; a (divine) gratuity, that is, deliverance (from danger or passion); (specifically) a (spiritual) endowment, that is, (subjectively) religious qualification, or (objectively) miraculous faculty: - (free) gift.
Total KJV occurrences: 17.
I fully realize the word (free) gift is also a meaning of this Greek word. But keep in mind that the context itself determines which meaning best fits the whole context and the rest of the Bible. And clearly, the context is about the works of sinning versus the works of not continuing to sin.
This does not mean never ever sin again. But rather it means working at overcoming the temptation to sin.
Here is a further explanation of the Greek word “χάρισμα” pronounced as charisma. This word signifies a gracious endowment that is freely offered by God, but yet it shall be in the future bestowed in response to the faithfulness of the servant God.
It is a divine gratuity, not a wage earned, but a reward granted to those found pleasing in His sight. The ‘free’ nature of the gift reflects God’s generosity, not unconditional permanence that is expected to be received by an UNFAITHFUL Servant serving the pleasure of his or her flesh and not walking after the Spirit of God.
Eternal life, therefore, is the consummate reward given to the good and faithful servant who endures, obeys, and is found worthy at the end.”
Here are a few of the many verses that support the GIFT of Eternal Life being a gift of gratitude for the WORKS of His servant being PLEASING and ACCEPTABLE unto Him.
Romans 6:22.
“But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.”
Notice that Eternal life is the END outcome of holiness, not the starting point.
Matthew 25:21, 23.
“Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter you into the joy of your lord.”
In this verse we see that the joy, referring to eternal life, is the REWARD for faithful stewardship. And not being a good and faithful servant or the UNPROFITABLE servant will be cast out into outer darkness.
Matthew 25:30.
“And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Luke 20:35.
“But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead…”
Again, worthiness is the condition for receiving the resurrection life.
Revelation 2:10.
“Be you faithful unto death, and I will give you a crown of LIFE.”
The crown of life is referring to eternal life. And being FAITHFUL unto death is the CONDITION required to receive the GIFT of Eternal life. It is God’s promise to a believer for his FAITHFULNESS as God’s servant. It is promised to those who remain faithful through each trial of being tempted to sin.
But here is where BIBLICAL Eternal Security comes in to RESCUE us when we fall and give into temptation to sin.
It is the Salvation we have already RECEIVED when we FIRST BELIEVED. That is the salvation that is ETERNALLY SECURE.
What happens when we first believe? God FORGIVES us of all our sins! We are RECONCILED to God.
Therefore, Jesus being the "propitiation" of our sins is Eternally Secure. Our faith in the ONE Sacrifice for our sins will never be taken away from us by God.
But anyone of us can be deceived to depart from God. I will explain more on this in a moment.
But first, here is another short story that will help you understand “INHERITANCE” as being a GIFT that is given out of GRATITUDE left in a WILL to be received in the future.
No one can deny that a name written in a “WILL” can be BLOTTED OUT by the maker of that WILL. Therefore, the promised gift can indeed be taken away by the marker of the WILL.
Please read the CONDITIONS of God’s “WILL” in Revelation 3:1-6. Jesus is speaking to the church, people who have BEEN SAVED, and he is warning us about our WORKS.
Revelation 3:1-6.
“And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things say he that has the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know your works, that you have a name that you live, and are dead.
To me, Revelation 3:1 above fits the name of the man-made doctrine of Eternal Security and Once Saved Always Saved teaches in many church denominations such as: Calvinism, Reformed Theology, Grace Alone, and Baptist Christians.
They are told over and over, again, and again that they can never lose their salvation. And then they equate the receiving of Eternal Life as being one and the same thing as being SAVED.
In other words, they are told over and over, again and again, that they already HAVE Eternal Life from the time they first believed.
But that is not what the WHOLE word of Almighty God teaches us. There is only ONE verse in the entire Bible that says, “you HAVE eternal life”, which is 1 John 5:13.
And that verse is taken out of its CONTEXT and wrongly “interpreted” to mean that Christians “already” have eternal life, therefore, Christians can never lose eternal life.
I will come back to that verse and explain the context further on in this study. But first, let’s finish reading that a Christian’s name CAN and WILL be BLOTTED out of the Book of Life if their WORKS are not acceptable.
Revelation 3:2. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found your works perfect before God.
Revelation 3:3. Remember therefore how you have received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on you as a thief, and you shall not know what hour I will come upon you.
The KEY to remaining SECURE in Jesus is to HOLD FAST and REPENT when we sin.
Revelation 3:4. You have a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
Notice the words “a FEW names” which have NOT defiled their garments.
So again, we see the CONDITION of being FOUND WORTHY is to NOT DEFILE our garments with sin.
Revelation 3:5. He that overcomes, the same, shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Again, only the Christians who OVERCOME will NOT be blotted out of the Book of Life.
Revelation 3:6. He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches.”
Let’s move on to the man-made Eternal Security doctrine’s argument of Eternal Life as being God’s FREE GIFT!
Before we examine the HOPE of eternal life, we must first understand the nature of the free gift as it is used in Scripture. What gift is FREE and what gift is CONDITIONAL upon GOOD WORKS.
Scripture uses this phrase “free gift” only three times, and each verse reveals that the “FREE” gift is NOT eternal life itself!
But rather, the FREE gift is the propitiation of our sins. The mercy and grace of God through Jesus Christ is eternally SECURE.
This is the gift that is eternally secure because it rests in God’s own character of His faithfulness to forgive.
God is always faithful and ready to cleanse us of all our unrighteousness when we REPENT and CONFESS our sins. And His unchanging promise is that Christ’s ONE sacrifice remains sufficient for all to exercise their faith to repent and believe God is faithful to forgive them, even at times when that cannot forgive THEMSELVES.
We do not DESERVE being forgiven. That is the whole point of GRACE.
The free gift in another verse is the power of grace that enables us to rise again, confess our sins, be reconciled to God again, and walk in righteousness.
This PROCESS of BEING saved is the foundation of our hope, not the completion of it. For you see, the TRYING of our FAITH does not end UNTIL we either die physically or at the Coming of Jesus.
Let’s look at the definitions of the three different Greek words used in the three verses where the phrase “free gift” are used. The first Greek word is the focus of this study on Romans 6:23 concerning Eternal Life being Free or a “Gratuity” for being a good and faithful Servant of Almighty God and His Son Jesus.
χάρισμα (charisma) is found in Romans 5:15, and also used in Romans 6:23. It is translated as “free gift” in Romans 5:15 because the CONTEXT allows it. The GRACE of God is FREE, but receiving eternal life is NOT free.
It comes from G5483, And it means a (divine) gratuity, that is, deliverance (from danger or passion); (specifically) a (spiritual) endowment, that is, (subjectively) religious qualification, or (objectively) miraculous faculty: - (free) gift.
Here is what G5483 means:
G5483
χαρίζομαι
charizomai
khar-id'-zom-ahee
Middle voice from G5485; to grant as a favor, that is, gratuitously, in kindness, pardon or rescue: - deliver, (frankly) forgive, (freely) give, grant.
Total KJV occurrences: 23.
δωρεά (dorea) Acts 2:38, Eph 3:7 means free gratuity, Spiritual gift. These free gifts help us stay in the WAY that LEADS to receiving eternal life set before us as a prize to GAIN or OBTAIN.
δώρημα (dorema) is found in Romans 5:16, and James 1:17, which means bestowed thing, benefaction.
The “free gift” ITSELF is eternally secure in God’s grace, while eternal life is the CONDITIONAL REWARD for those who REMAIN faithful unto the END.
I know that Eternal Security Christians balk at eternal life being a REWARD, so let’s look at the meaning of “gratuity” in English.
Gratuity is from Latin gratus, meaning “pleasing” or “thankful”.
It is defined as:
“A gift or reward given voluntarily for satisfactory service; not required or owed.”
In everyday use, a gratuity is never given for UNSATISFACORY work. But rather, it’s a token of appreciation when the giver of the gratuity is PLEASEDwith the recipient’s effort, work, or service.
That meaning of the Greek words as being “gratuity” perfectly mirrors the Biblical principle of divine REWARD: God’s gifts are not wages owed, but gracious rewards given when He is satisfied with His servant’s faithfulness.
Let me remind you of Revelation 3:1–6, which we already covered above section Conditions for INERITUNG Eternal Life!
Jesus WARNS us to be WATCHFUL, to hold fast, and to REPENT. He warns about being found UNWORTHY by saying that those FOUND WORTHY will not be blotted out of the Book of Life.
Revelation 3:1–6 is DEFINITELY teaching us that receiving eternal life can be LOST to those who defile themselves with sin and do NOT REPENT.
This passage describes believers who have “a name that thou livest, and art dead.”
Again, this fits the description of Calvinism, Reformed Theology, Grace Alone, and Baptist Christians who teach the man-made doctrines of Eternal Security. Once Saved Always Saved, and Salvation by Grace ALONE.
Our Lord Jesus Christ commends only those who remain faithful and undefiled:
“Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.” (verse 4)
Here we clearly see that WORTHINESS is the condition for reward, the “gratuity” of walking with Christ in white garments.
It is only when the giver, the now glorified Son of Man God made Lord, is pleased with the faithfulness of each individual SERVANT. And thus Jesus will grant the reward freely, and not by obligation to give any UNFAITHFUL servant eternal life.
You can phrase the GIFT of Eternal Life as being a REWARD this way.
Just as a gratuity is freely given only when the giver is satisfied, so God’s gracious reward of the Crown of Life is given ONLY to those whose WORKS please Him.
Eternal life is not a wage owed by God, but a “gratuity” bestowed or granted upon those found worthy, a reward of grace, not entitlement.
Let’s take a look at the meaning of the English word reward so you can see more clearly that eternal life is GRANTED to only those who OVERCOME.
In English, a reward is understood as a gift or a prize given for a service that pleases the one giving the gift. A gift or a reward is not owed for poor or incomplete work, but granted freely when the giver is satisfied.
We see this principle in everyday life. For example, a reward for finding a treasured pet, or a prize for winning a race.
The giver’s joy and satisfaction determine the reward, not the receiver’s demand.
I know that no Christians demand to receive the gift of eternal life, but CLAIMING they can NEVER lose eternal life no matter what they DO is in essence saying they are ENTITLED to receive eternal life even if their WORKS are DISPLEASING to God.
Likewise, God’s rewards are gratuities of grace, not wages of obligation for God to give His Grace.
He gives them only when He is pleased with the faithfulness of His servants.
As Revelation 3:1–6 shows, only those whose works are found perfect before God and whose garments remain undefiled will “walk with Him in white, for they are worthy.”
But that WORK is EASY. It is not hard to REPENT and CONFESS our sins. The FIGHT of faith can be hard, especially when we are doing the fighting ALONE by NOT BELIEVING the promises of God that we CAN life free from sin. Please read the study titled: F-12. HOW YOU CAN LIVE YOUR LIFE FREE FROM SIN!
This divine pattern of reward of being freely given, yet conditionally received is found throughout the Bible.
The OFFER of Salvation is freely given to the whole world, but it is CONDITIONAL on BELIEVING continually unto the END.
It is the eternal reward for those who finish the race in faith and obedience to RECEIVE the gratuity of divine satisfaction.
Paul’s phrase “every man that strives for the mastery” is a little misleading. The meanings of the Greek words all together speak of mastering the skills to endure unto the end.
The words speak of the agonizing endurance of fight to FINISH the race.
Plain and simple, if a Christians does not FINISH the race set before us, he or she will NOT receive a Crown of Eternal Life at the Coming of Jesus.
The “Mastery” is not a title of superiority but the victory through endurance. It is the fight to remain temperate, steadfast, and obedient until the finish line.
The runner who quits before the end receives no crown, no reward, no recognition. Likewise, the believer who fails to endure in holiness until the end forfeits the incorruptible crown of eternal life.
Again, those “ITCHY” ears of the FLESH do not want to COME to the LIGHT. Rather, they HEAP together those teachers who will teach them what they WANT to hear.
2 Timothy 4:1-5.
“I charge you therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick (Or the living) and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2 Timothy 4:2. Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
2 Timothy 4:3. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2 Timothy 4:4. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
2 Timothy 4:5. But WATCH you in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of your ministry.”
Earthly athletes strive for a corruptible crown, a fading wreath of honor that does not last. But God’s crown is imperishable, eternal, and can never be taken after it is actually received or obtained.
And the Crown of Eternal Life is reserved only for those who finish the race in faith and obedience enduring unto the end of the race.
Please read the study titled: F-12. HOW YOU CAN LIVE YOUR LIFE FREE FROM SIN!
The mastery, therefore, is not about being the greatest in the kingdom, but about learning the skills of overcoming sin through perseverance and FAITH in God’s promises. Eternal life is the prize for those who complete the course, not merely to begin it with a sinner’s prayer and your home free so to speak.
The Grace ALONE belief is sometimes called “Easy Believism” by Christians who know we must endure unto the end to be saved. It gives those seeking to be saved the wrong idea that our “walk” of faith is EASY.
No, it is not easy fighting against temptations to not give into them and sin. At first it may even seem impossible to some. And that is because they are not using their FAITH in the promises of God that STRENGTHEN us and EMPOWER us to hold fast. Again, please read the study titled: F-12. HOW YOU CAN LIVE YOUR LIFE FREE FROM SIN!
Jesus warned that no wise man begins a war or builds a tower without first counting the cost.
Luke 14:25–32.
“And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,
Luke 14:26. If any man comes to me, and hates not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
The word hate is the Bible carries the meaning of LOVING MORE our father, mother, wife, children, brother and sisters both biological and in the Lord, and even loving ourselves MORE than Jesus, then we cannot be his disciples.
Loving Jesus MORE is a choice. And if we CHOSE to love our own lives MORE then we are not TRULY BEING his disciples.
This too is a FIGHT of FAITH to trust that what we give up in life to follow Jesus faithfully cannot be COMPARED to what we shall RECEIVE, both in this life and in the ages to come. The Apostle Paul says in Romans 8:18 that what we suffer in this present world for the sake of Jesus and the Gospel cannot be compared with the GLORY we shall receive at the coming of Jesus IF we suffer with Jesus. Romans 8:18 “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Luke 14:27. And whosoever does not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
Luke 14:28. For which of you, intending to build a tower, sits not down first, and counts the cost, whether he has sufficient to finish it?
Luke 14:29. Lest haply, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
Luke 14:30. Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
Luke 14:31. Or what king, going to make war against another king, sits not down first, and consults whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him that comes against him with twenty thousand?
Luke 14:32. Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sends an ambassage, and desires conditions of peace.
Luke 14:33. So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsakes not all that he has, he cannot be my disciple.”
The point Jesus made is simple: don’t start what you’re unwilling to finish. The disciple’s life is a spiritual campaign, not a casual stroll. The one who enters the battle must fight to win, not merely to begin.
Just as a king who goes to war must finish the fight to secure victory, so the believer must endure to the end to receive the crown of life through FIGHTING the GOOD fight of FAITH.
Eternal life is not awarded for starting the race, but for finishing it in faith, obedience, and perseverance. The Lord’s reward is reserved for those who overcome, not for those who retreat.
Stop saying things like, “I can’t overcome sin, ONLY Jesus lived without sin.” Or, “Jesus bore all of my sins FOR me, thinking in your mind you yourself do not have to fight against t he temptations of the Enemy, Satan, the Devil to resist his lies. All things are possible WITH God.
I employ you to read this study and TRULY meditate on all of the PROMISES in the Scripture that EMPOWER us to do the SAME WORKS Jesus did THROUGH the SAME Eternal Spirit who dwelt in the fully human Son of Man, titled: F-12. HOW YOU CAN LIVE YOUR LIFE FREE FROM SIN!
Eternal life is not something we already possess. But rather, it is a hope promised to those who abide or REMAIN in Christ and walk in obedience to His Word.
The ANOINTING of the Holy Spirit lives in us from the moment we first believed by God’s Grace through FAITH on the name of Jesus Anointed.
That SAME Anoint that God gave the Son of Man, Jesus, is the power to become the sons and daughters of God, according to John 1:12, Acts 10:38, John 14:12, and Hebrews 9:14.
We are the regenerated or born-again adopted sons of God right now and not the completed reality of the transformation from mortal to immortality.
The Spirit within us is the pledge or promise of God that His Spirit dwelling in His good and faithful sons and daughters can and will resurrect us at the first resurrection.
The bearing witness of the Holy Spirit within us is the Promise of the GIFT of Eternal given to those of us who REAMING faithful in Jesus Christ unto the END. The SEAL of the “earnest” is the down payment of what will be revealed in FULNESS when Christ returns and REWARDS His faithful servants.
Before we dive into some of the following verses below that contain every phrase in Scripture that speaks of “eternal life”, “everlasting life”, “life eternal”, and life everlasting, let’s take a close look at the ONLY three verses in the King James Version that contain the phrase “FREE GIFT”
Romans 5:15.
“But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.”
Romans 5:16.
“And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.”
Romans 5:18.
“Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.”
In the first verse found in Romans 5:15, which is the CONTEXT before Romans 6:23, we can clearly see the GIFT itself is Jesus Christ, or Jesus the Anointed One by his God and Father to be made both Lord and Messiah after the cross and resurrection, according to Acts 2:36.
And that gift of the ONE Sacrifice for the “propitiation” of sins for whosoever Believes is by GRACE, which is FREE and cannot be earned through keeping the Law of Moses under the Old Covenant, according to Ephesians 2:15 and many other verses in the New Testament under the NEW Covenant.
And for ALL of the verses of Scripture used to try to prove Eternal Security, also known as Once Saved Always Saved, please read the full in-depth study titled: F-2. Is ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED BIBLICAL?
But for now, please read through ALL of the verses of Scripture in the entire Bible that contain the phrases “Eternal Life”, Everlasting Life”, “Life Eternal”, and Life Everlasting.
Please read them carefully with an open mind seeking only God’s intended TRUTH. Do your best to NOT read into the Scripture any preconceived doctrine you have been taught.
Read them without commentary, and let the word of Almighty God speak for itself to reveal that eternal life is a hope yet to be received, a reward for those who endure and are found worthy.
Then, do your own research by reading these verses in their CONTEXT! Compare Scripture with Scripture, pray and ask God to show you His TRUTH.
And keep an open mind and sincere heart seeking the Father’s truth to see whether the Bible truly teaches that eternal life is a guaranteed possession you can never lose or a promised inheritance for ONLY the faithful.
I will bold and underline key words and phrases that can be and are read right over by reading into verses a preconceived belief.

Calvinism, Reformed Theology, Grace Alone, and Baptist Christians take select verses OUT of their context and read their preconceived belief into those verses so that in their minds those verses prove to them that no true-born-again Christ can ever LOSE Eternal Life, which is our HOPE of obtaining in the world to come.
They either read right over or deliberately ignore all of the other verses that clearly teaches us that RECEIVING Eternal Life at the Coming of Jesus and the FIRST resurrection is CONDITIONAL.
A dear brother in our Lord Jesus Christ, who is struggling to forgive himself, has been deceived that he has no chance of the FIRST resurrection.
So he clings to his own understanding of 1 Corinthians 3:13,14, and Daniel 12:2 to have hope of the second resurrection at the end of the 1000-year reign of Jesus and the Saints.
I have done my best to endeavor to build his faith in the True Sound BIBILICAL meaning of our Salvation being Eternal SECURE, in that God Himself will NEVER take it away from us.
He has DIVIDED the REWARD in 1 Corinthians 3:14 from being SAVED, which he EQUATES with receiving Eternal Life in the world to come.
He has convinced himself that the WORK in 1 Corinthians charter 3 is NOT the sowing and reaping of souls, the BUILDING of God’s building, the church, the body of Jeus Christ. But in his mind the WORK in the single is meant to be underwood as the works of righteousness versus the works of unrighteousness.
And he feels that has done way too many “unrighteous works”, and therefore, he struggles to forgive himself and clings to his own interpretation of 1 Corinthians 3:13,14 along with Daniel 12:2.
He bolded and underlined being resurrected to have shame and everlasting contempt, as opposed to being resurrected to have eternal damnation.
But again, Daniel 12:2 must be kept in the context of Daniel 12:1, which clearly says those found WRITTEN in the Book.
Daniel 12:1-3.
“And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which stands for the children of your people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
Daniel 12:2. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Daniel 12:3. And they that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”
We all agree that there are two and only two resurrections: the FIRST resurrection at the coming of Jesus and the final resurrection at the White Throne Judgment when the 1000-year reign of Jesus and the saints is finished.
We also agree that some Christians will be ALIVE at the coming of Jesus. So here is what I believe.
I believe that not EVERY Christians who is ALIVE the coming of Jesus who is FOUND to be WORTHY will be CHANGED form mortal to IMMORTALITY in order to raptured or caught up to meet Jesus in the air to rule and REIGN WITH Jesus for 1,000 years during the world to come and the SECOND death with have no power over them.
However, some Christians who remain ALIVE unto the coming of Jesus will NOT be found WORTHY to receive eternal life to rule and reign with Jesus.
And thus, THEY, the unworthy Christians who continue to live in sin and do NOT REPENT and confess their sins will remain in their MORTAL bodies and remain on the earth to live out the remainder of their years to age 100 years old, then die to take part in the final resurrection at the end of the Millennial reign of Jesus.
The reason that I say this is that our generation is being given MORE LIGHT than ever before.
Please understand that I believe, teach, and REST in the truth that we are made RIGHTEOUS by grace through FAITH in Jesus who suffered and died for the sins of the whole world and was raised from the dead after three days and three nights.
And whosoever BELIEVES on his NAME shall NOT PERISH.
But the key word is BELIEVES and not having believed just at the beginning of BEING Saved.
Let’s read John 6:27 again to learn how we remain SEALED.
John 6:27.
“Labor not for the meat which perishes, but for that meat which endures unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him has God the Father sealed.”
The LITERAL translation says SEALS in the present tense meaning that the Christians who were SEALED when they first believe and WORK for the MEAT that ENDURES unto eternal life, then the Father SEALS those Christians to be granted eternal life.
So there is one seal made at two different TIMES; one at the START of being saved and at the END when Jesus returns.
Always remember that any Christians NAME cann be BLOTTED OUT of the Book of Life by Jesus at his coming, according to Revelation 3:1–6.
So again, I implore all Christians to read the in depth study that covers ALL of the verses that are used to try to prove that a Christians can never lose Eternal Life and they can ONLY lose their REWARDS according to their OWN interpretation of 1 Corinthians 3:12,14 taken OUT of its CONTEXT.

And to me, the truth concerning who Jesus TRULY is, according to the Bible ITSELF, is the Biblical Unitarian view of Jesus.
Once Christians, Jews, Muslims, and even atheists understand the REASON that Yahweh CREATED the Son of MAN, Jesus, was to have DOMINION over the work of Yahweh’s hands.
And after you understand that the REASON that Yahweh did that is to STILL His ENEMIES, Satan and the fallen angels.
Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become “a” Lord, “a” King, and “a” God, under and subject to his God and Father in order to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
For a deeper understanding of this WAR that Lucifer and one third of the angels waged against the throne of Almighty God, please read the studies under the subject category called ** Q-0 Why Are We Here? Is God at WAR? **.
