"Our first was born when the oldest tree,
bore a single seed of sap.
As it fell, the wind blew the glass and sculpted
Ecul, the pure.
She looked at the shards upon the forest floor,

The Stainglass Elves are elusive, living in villages hard to find in the winding, sharp maze of the forest around them. The few outsiders who have found their way into their towns describe them as a breathtaking mix of art and architecture, intricate glass structures blending seamlessly into the solid wood of their buildings. The best example of this is the incredible Rubybark Library, carved from the towering husk of a giant Crimsewood tree and storing a history that is fiercely protected.
