The island empire of Aurum stood as the height of the civilised world, and is now most famous for its fall. Scholars are still unsure of the exact reason for its collapse, the missing monarch, the Auramic war and the unseen magics they meddled with all seem a small parts of a larger puzzle they cannot seem to fit together. The island of Aurum is now all but empty, only a few occasional treasure hunters visiting the crumbling cities and charred homes, hoping to find something left behind in the rubble.
