2025 Four Corners USA
Next meeting is October 10th at 8:00 PM EST
by invitation only - registered riders
This group will be limited to 8 riders. A waitlist will be created for others and riders will be added as others drop out.
The Four Corners USA endurance ride is managed by SCMA (South California Motorcycle Association) and lets you start at any of the four corners. You don't have to complete the circle by going back to the corner you started at. You touch the four and go home... or keep riding somewhere. The corners are Key West, FL; Madawaska, ME; Blaine, WA; and San Ysidro, CA. You have 21 days to complete it, but we'd like to plan it in less to have buffer days to weather or mechanical issues and so we don't get tired. It does not include getting to the start point (Key West for us) or getting home after the 4th point (San Ysidro, CA for us).
My plan is based on 548 to 641 mile days. Most are under 640 and four are in the 500's. Quit your whining. It's an endurance ride. You can see the day-by-day stats below. Day 13 is an adventure day that will include Booneville Road, Mountain View Road, the Pacific Coast Highway, Muir Woods (coastal), The Golden Gate Bridge, Pacifico, Half Moon Bay, La Honda Road, and Page Mill Road. Day 14 will complete the ride to San Ysidro, CA. I have a short day on day 9 to have some scenic riding and rest up a bit.
Yes, I have the routes for all the days done, including tentative hotels, breakfast, lunch and fuel stops. You should know me by now.
I recently completed a set of routes that do NOT require Canada at the request of riders.
Yes, it's been on my bucket list for many years.
Our plan is to ride in great weather … most of the time... and get home before the July 4th vacationers get out. We will compete with many vacationers anyway as we travel.
I allocate 2 pre-ride days for myself (you may need more or less) to get to the starting point with an oil change done. One day to get to SoFla in the Jupiter area. The next morning I would do an oil change, lunch with friends, and then ride to Key West (maybe meet some riders for dinner at No Name Pub on Big Pine Key) in the evening to be ready for the official start the next day. I would finish 12 or 14 days later... 6,900+ miles later. You still have to ride home... or in that general direction. I have routes for some great riding on the ride home, too.
The package SCMA sends is fantastic and if you complete the ride you don't get a piece of paper... you get an official plaque and more bling! If you are registered here, I will be sending reminders for when to register for SCMA and the 4-Corners Tour.
