A internship which offers substantial exposure to a person's engineering interest would be great. Getting an opportunity to work on a project with some talented people would hold the intern in good stead. With many decent startups popping up in India, there really isn't other place were a student would get to see the practical side of educational theories better. Emphasis should be solely on learning rather than brand value.
