Biography:
Muhammad Asim, hailing from Pakistan, is currently engaged in his Ph.D. studies in Photonics at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan, since February 2023. Prior to this, he pursued his Master of Science in Electronics Science and Technology from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China from Aug-2019 to Sep-2021. His foundational academic training began at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES) in Pakistan, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication Engineering from Aug-2007 to Jun-2011.
His research interests include the fabrication of polymer light-emitting diodes (LEDs), perovskite solar cells and Tandem Solar cells. He has experience in a variety of research techniques, including thin-film deposition, characterization, and device fabrication. Muhammad is passionate about renewable energy and is committed to developing new technologies that can help to address the global energy crisis. He is a valuable asset to the Department of Photonics and is sure to make significant contributions to the field of organic solar energy.
