How do the trips work: We meet up at Conn Brown Harbor in Aransas pass OR Port Aransas Harbor between 6am and 11am ( customer choice). After a quick safety brief (Life-jackets, Radio and Signal Devices) We will head out to the Port Aransas Jetties were the Captain will offer the customers a "Last Chance" customers can cancel the trip and the charge will be $200. If the Captain deems the weather to be unsafe a full refund will be given at this point.
Target Species: state water red snapper. (limit 4 per person)
What to bring: Unless you have special gear you would like to try, there is no need to bring any fishing gear since we provide Rods, Reels, Tackle and Bait. What you should bring is food, drinks, sunblock. The boat has shade but not much beats sunblock and a hat. We have a Ice Chest dedicated to Food and Drink so there is no need for your own ice chests.
Cost: $1200 up to 5 people.
What you get: Spearfishing is a whole new way to fish. You can see Barracuda, Amber-Jack, various Snapper, Sheep Head, Spade fish, Trigger fish, Cobia (Ling). These can be private trips or fill a boat.

Spearfishing: The Clarity of the water will range from 2ft(worst) to 80ft(best) there is no way (that I have found) to guarantee or verify the clarity prior to seeing it in person. Buddy Diving is mandatory as well as everyone having a Inflatable signal tube. Dive tanks can be filled and gear can be rented from the local dive shop "Deep Blue Scuba" The Captain or Deckhand can return equipment that is rented from this location.
What to bring: Your group should have their own gear when we start loading up at the harbor. Be sure to bring is food, drinks, sunblock. We have an Ice Chest dedicated to Food and Drink so there is no need for your own ice chests. For spearfishing you will need a fishing license.

What you get: If you prefer to move underwater un-encumbered or are not certified in diving this category is for you. We have Snuba equipment so you can breath underwater without scuba gear. You can see Barracuda, Amber-Jack, various Snapper, Sheep Head, Spade fish, Trigger fish, Cobia (Ling). These trips are 6 hrs

Snuba/Snorkel/Free-diving: The Clarity of the water will range from 2ft(worst) to 60ft(best) there is no way (that I have found) to guarantee or verify the clarity prior to seeing it in person. We will make a pass on multiple sites including the North and South Jetties, state rigs, and for free divers any bait-balls your group wants to dive into.
What to bring: Your group should have their own gear (mask fins snorkel) when we start loading up at the harbor. We have snuba compressors and regulators for 2 snuba divers at a time. Be sure to bring food, drinks, sunblock. We have a Ice Chest dedicated to Food and Drink so there is no need for your own ice chests.
Cost: $750 up to 6 people. 2 snuba divers at a time.
