"The mission of the Idaho Master Naturalist (IMN) program is to develop a corps of well-informed volunteers who actively work toward stewardship of Idaho's natural world."
To become a Master Naturalist participants will:
Attend 40 hours of provided education (classes, workshops, and hands-on field experiences) to learn about Idaho's ecosystems, animals, plants, and natural systems.
Donate 40 hours of volunteer service in the areas of stewardship, citizen science, and conservation education on a variety of projects with our partners and other organizations.
The program fee for initial certification* is $100.
*After initial certification, ongoing annual maintenance requires 8 hours of education and 40 hours of volunteer service. Annual dues of $25 (subject to change) are required to remain an active member of the Teton Valley Chapter.
