I am facing a problem in my LAN connection. We have CAT 6 straight cable around 80 feet coming directly from one department. The cable is patched in patch panel on T568-B wiring standard. Then we connect that patch panel cable to un-managed switch with another straight cable patch cord.

EDIT: Another great test would be to make (or take, if available) another straight cable (100ft; B wiring) and run it directly from the machine that is not connecting, and plug it directly into the switch (on the same port as before, at first) If you get connection then something is either wrong with your punch or the port on the patch panel.

I have patched it to different port on patch panel but same result. Neither any change in network nor in configurations. There is no open pair. After checking it from different angles many times, finally i have made RJ45 connectors on both ends for checking. But it is showing same result as all LEDs are up 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 in correct sequence but with Non-Parallel" error. See cable tester in attached picture.

As this computer is set for some data feeding purpose only. I have replaced that green pair with blue one at both ends. And since then it is working fine. I will contact some professional to check that wire completely. Thanks

There is nothing wrong with your tester.

There are 8 strands in an unshielded network cable which is what you tested in your video.

A shielded cable also has a grounded metal sheath surrounding the 8 strands. The G on your tester refers to this.

I have a similar tester but in mine the shield is referred to as "Shield".

PIM is a growing issue for cellular network operators. PIM issues may occur as existing equipment ages, when co-locating new carriers, or when installing new equipment. PIM is a particular issue when overlaying (diplexing) new carriers into old antenna runs.

The PIM test is a measure of system linearity while a Return Loss measurement is concerned with impedance changes. It is important to remember that they are two independent tests,consisting of mostly unrelated parameters that are testing opposite performance conditions within a cellular system.

It is possible to have a PIM test pass while Return Loss fails, or PIM fail while Return Loss passes. Essentially, PIM testing will not find high Insertion Loss and Return Loss will not find high PIM. Line sweeps and PIM testing are both important.

Some cable faults show up best with a PIM test. For example, if an antenna feed line has a connector with metal chips floating around inside, it is highly likely that it will fail a PIM test while the line sweep passes. The antenna run most certainly possesses nearly ideal impedance characteristics, but the presence of metal flakes bouncing around will cause the PIM test to fail. It is also an indication that the connector was not fitted correctly.
