Class Color T-Shirts - ORDER NOW! Window Closes 9/8/2026 so you will have your shirt by homecoming!

Class colored t-shirts only available a couple times each year - the link is OPEN NOW until September 8, 2026. Shirts will be delivered to Tatanka by September 24th for the Homecoming Football Game on September 25th!

Picture Day & Retake Day Volunteers Needed!

Picture Day & Retake Day Volunteers 2026Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Thank you! Two volunteers are needed for Picture Day & and one to two volunteers for Picture Retake Day at Tatanka! You will be helping escort classes to have their school picture taken to and from the gym or designated picture area. All volunteers are required to have a background check on file with the school. To check if you have a background check onfile please call the Tatanka office, or email Andrea at awiegert@bhmschools.org We are so thankful for our volunteers. Fall 2026 Conference Meal for Teachers & Staff- Potato BarTatanka PTO is organizing a potluck appetizer meal for our hardworking teachers and staff during parent/teacher conferences on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. Please sign up below to donate an item to this event! Approximately 35 teachers and staff will be served.Bring in disposable containers if possible.Drop off ready-to-serve food items in the Tatanka office by 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. Crockpots or other servers for warm appetizers can be picked up at Tatanka at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 14th. Thanks for your support of our great teachers and staff at Tatanka Elementary!

The registers are easy to run. We couldn't run the bookfair without your support! As a thank you to our book fair volunteers you can pick out one book to bring home for free from the book fair.

    - Examples include granola bars, cereal bars, fruit snacks, goldfish, skinny pop packs, veggie straws, etc.
