The Application collects information when you download and use it. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Important: We respect the privacy of your personal conversations. We do not upload your messages, contacts, or notification contents to any external server. All message recovery processing happens locally on your device.
Below is a clear breakdown of the data collected, its purpose, and how it is used by the App and third-party services.
Google Analytics for Firebase
Data Collected: Device information (device model, OS version, App version, IP address), App usage data (screens visited, session duration), Events triggered.
Purpose: Monitor App performance, analyze stability, and improve user experience.
AdMob (Google Ad Services)
Data Collected: Advertising ID (Ad ID), Device information, and app usage related to ads.
Purpose: Display relevant advertisements (personalized or non-personalized), measure ad performance, and prevent click fraud.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of personalized advertising using your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization).
Our App uses specific permissions to perform its core function: recovering deleted text and media. We do not use these permissions to spy on you or send data to third parties.
A. Notification Access (Listener Service)
Purpose: To read incoming system notifications.
Why Needed: This is the core technology of the App. Since encrypted messages cannot be accessed directly, the App reads the notification displayed on your screen to save a backup. If the sender deletes the message, our App retrieves the content from this local backup.
B. Storage & Media Access (Read/Write External Storage)
Purpose: To access and save media files.
Why Needed: Required to recover deleted photos, videos, or voice notes, and to allow you to download/save "Status" updates from messaging apps to your gallery.
C. Network & Internet
Purpose: Allow network communication.
Why Needed: Used solely to load advertisements, collect anonymous crash logs (Crashlytics), and check for App updates. Your messages are never sent over this network connection.
Our App serves as a utility tool to back up notifications and media.
Local Backup: The App creates a local database on your device to store incoming notification text.
Media Recovery: The App monitors specific folders to detect when a media file is deleted and attempts to restore it from the cache.
Privacy Note: We do not track your precise real-time location. We do not knowingly solicit data from children.
We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process. However, please note that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
Local Storage: Your recovered messages reside on your device. If you uninstall the App, this data is deleted permanently from your device.
We show ads via AdMob/Google Ad Services. These services may use the Advertising ID to serve personalized ads.
Opt-Out: You can opt out of ad personalization via your device settings.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or Switzerland, you have rights under the GDPR, including:

Right of erasure: Request deletion of your personal data.
Right to object: Object to processing and direct marketing.

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will immediately delete this.
