These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Passport Photo ID Maker ("the app", "we"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. Your download and use of the app are also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) and the App Store Terms of Service.
The app uses automated, on-device checks to help you prepare a photo that follows published document guidelines. We do not and cannot guarantee that any photo created with the app will be accepted by any government, embassy, agency, employer, or other authority. Requirements differ between offices, change without notice, and final acceptance is always at the issuing authority's sole discretion. Always verify the current official requirements before submitting a photo, and allow time to retake it if it is refused.
The app offers one-time purchases: a Premium unlock and a Single Photo unlock. Prices are shown before you buy. All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple account; billing and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms. The Premium unlock can be restored on devices signed into the same Apple ID via Restore Purchases. The Single Photo unlock is a consumable delivered on the device where it is bought: it unlocks clean, HD exporting for one photo project, and re-exporting that same project stays free.
Photos you take, import, or create with the app are yours. We claim no rights over them, and — as described in our Privacy Policy — they never leave your device unless you save or share them. You are responsible for the photos you create, including having the right to use any photo you import and using your exports lawfully.
You agree not to use the app to create fraudulent, forged, or misleading identity documents, to impersonate another person, or for any unlawful purpose. You also agree not to copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the app except where the law expressly permits it.
The app — including its design, code, icons, and branding — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms give you no rights in the app other than the license above.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Without limiting section 2, we do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that any photo will satisfy any particular authority's requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including rejected applications, missed travel or deadlines, or fees charged by third parties — arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for all claims relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app's purchases in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you; nothing in these Terms limits rights that consumer-protection law grants you and that cannot be waived.
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may terminate this license if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 2 and 4 through 8 survive termination.
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above, and continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is established, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
These Terms are between you and the app's developer only, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to the app, including product-liability claims, any claim that the app fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer-protection or privacy law. If a third party claims the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual-property rights, the developer, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of that claim. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist-supporting", and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
