Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Photo to PDF ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
These terms constitute a legal agreement between you and the app developer regarding your use of this software.
License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
• Download and install the app on iOS devices you own or control
• Use the app for personal or commercial document processing
• Create, edit, and share PDF documents using the app's features
This license does not allow you to:
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the app
• Remove or modify any proprietary notices in the app
• Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
• Maintaining the security of your device and Apple ID
• All content you create, process, or store using the app
• Ensuring you have the right to process and convert any images or documents
• Complying with all applicable laws when using the app
• Not using the app to process illegal, harmful, or infringing content
You acknowledge that the app processes content locally on your device, and you are solely responsible for backing up your data.
Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to use the app to:
• Process documents you don't have permission to use
• Create counterfeit or fraudulent documents
• Violate any intellectual property rights
• Process content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
• Bypass any technical limitations or security features
• Interfere with the app's normal operation
Violation of these terms may result in termination of your license to use the app.
Features and Functionality
The app currently includes the following features:
• Photo selection from device library
• Document scanning with automatic edge detection and perspective correction
• Camera capture for document photography
• File import from Files app (images and PDFs)
• Image editing tools: rotate, crop, and filters (Black & White, Enhance, Sharpen, Denoise, Document Scan)
• PDF generation with customizable page sizes (A4, Letter, Original)
• PDF viewing with search, text selection, markup tools, and signature support
• Watermark support (add text or image watermarks to PDFs)
• PDF page management (reorder, delete, rotate pages)
• Document library with local storage and file management
• Cache management
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without notice. We may introduce paid features, subscriptions, or other monetization in future updates. Features may vary based on your iOS version and device capabilities.
Intellectual Property Rights
The app, including its design, code, graphics, and documentation, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
You retain all rights to the content you create using the app. We do not claim any ownership of your documents, images, or PDFs.
Apple, iOS, iPhone, iPad, and related trademarks are property of Apple Inc. This app is independently developed and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc.
Image Processing and Quality
The app uses Apple's native frameworks for image processing, document scanning, and PDF generation. While we strive for quality:
• Scan quality depends on lighting conditions and source material
• Filters and edits are processed using standard image algorithms
• PDF quality depends on source image resolution
• You should verify all processed documents for accuracy
We are not liable for quality issues arising from poor source material or device limitations.
Current Pricing
Photo to PDF is currently provided at no cost. There are currently:
• No in-app purchases
• No subscription fees
• No advertisements
We reserve the right to introduce paid features, in-app purchases, subscriptions, or advertising in future updates. Any such changes will be clearly communicated through app updates.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:
• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• That the app will be error-free or uninterrupted
• That defects will be corrected
• That the app is free from viruses or harmful components
You use the app at your own risk. We recommend maintaining backups of important documents.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of data, documents, or files
• Loss of profits or business opportunities
• Damages arising from use or inability to use the app
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.
Updates and Modifications
We may update the app to:
• Add new features or improve existing ones
• Fix bugs and improve performance
• Ensure compatibility with new iOS versions
• Enhance security
• Introduce new pricing models or monetization features
Updates may be automatic through the App Store. We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
Termination
You may terminate this agreement by uninstalling the app from all your devices.
We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:
• Your right to use the app immediately ends
• You must delete all copies of the app from your devices
• Provisions regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability survive termination
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with local laws.
You agree to resolve any disputes first through good faith negotiation.
App Store Terms
Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Service. In case of conflict between these Terms and Apple's terms, Apple's terms prevail.
Apple is not responsible for the app or any claims related to it. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services.
