These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Obaet mobile application and related services (“Service”). By accessing or using Obaet, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Obaet is operated by Aniket Gupta, an individual based in India.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Obaet.
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:
You meet the minimum age requirement.
The information you provide is accurate.
You will comply with all applicable laws.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate age requirements.
To use certain features, you must create an account using:
Email and password, or
Google Sign-In
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
All activities under your account
We are not liable for unauthorized access caused by your failure to secure your credentials.
Obaet uses automated systems, including AI models (such as Gemini API), to:
Analyze user responses
Generate personality insights
Match users algorithmically
You acknowledge that:
AI-generated outputs may not always be accurate
Matching results are automated and probabilistic
Obaet does not guarantee compatibility, outcomes, or relationship success
You use AI-generated insights at your own discretion.
You agree not to:
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
Share illegal, harmful, or offensive content
Impersonate another person
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse engineer the platform
Use the platform for fraudulent or unlawful activities
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these rules.
Users are responsible for the content they share, including chat messages.
Obaet does not actively monitor private chats but reserves the right to review content if:
Required by law
Reported for violations
Necessary to protect platform safety
We are not responsible for user-generated content.
Your use of Obaet is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using the Service, you consent to:
Collection and processing of personal data
AI-based profiling and automated matching
Storage of chat communications
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
You violate these Terms
You provide false information
Your activity poses risk to other users or the platform
We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access at our discretion.
Users may request account deletion by emailing:

Accounts enter a 30-day grace period before permanent deletion.
All platform content, including:
Branding
Software
Design
Algorithms
are the intellectual property of Obaet and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without permission.
Obaet is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no warranties regarding:
Accuracy of AI-generated analysis
Compatibility between users
Continuous or error-free operation
Use of the Service is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Obaet shall not be liable for:
Indirect or consequential damages
Loss of data
Emotional distress
User disputes
Outcomes resulting from matches or interactions
Obaet uses third-party services including:
Firebase
Google Cloud
Gemini API
Push notification services
We are not responsible for third-party system outages or failures.
Users accessing Obaet from outside India do so at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
