Short Bio
Rahul received his Engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Microfluidics & Nanofluidics from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur under the guidance of Dr.Chirodeep Bakli. His research focuses on droplet dynamics in microchannels, particularly exploring the effect of pH regulation, electrostatics, and non-Newtonian mixing. He is also investigating droplet spreading on varying topographies and droplet coalescence phenomena, aiming to advance understanding of complex multiphase transport in micro- and nanoscale systems.
Skills:
1. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD): COMSOL, ANSYS
2. Molecular/Multiphysics Simulations: Electrohydrodynamics, Droplet Dynamics
3. Experimental Techniques: Microfluidic Device Fabrication, High-Speed Imaging, Droplet Manipulation
