About Us
Tennyson Skin & Weight is a nurse practitioner-led clinical service that provides evidence-based skin cancer surveillance and medical weight management, with a strong focus on clinical judgement, continuity of care, and collaboration with patients’ usual general practitioners.
The name Tennyson reflects a tradition of careful judgement and reflection in service to others, informed by Victorian ideals of responsibility associated with the poet laureate to Queen Victoria.
The practice operates within a formal clinical governance framework aligned with Australian regulatory standards, Victorian medicines legislation, and professional indemnity requirements. Care is assessment-led and individualised, with an emphasis on long-term health outcomes rather than episodic or transactional treatment.
Tennyson Skin & Weight serves patients in the Goulburn Valley through face-to-face consultations at Shepparton Surgery and provides structured telehealth services for patients across Victoria, where clinically appropriate.

Consultation Types & Fees
Face-to-Face Consultations (Shepparton Surgery)
Appointments may be eligible for a Medicare rebate where clinically appropriate and where MBS criteria are met. Out-of-pocket costs will depend on the type and duration of the consultation.
Telehealth Consultations
Telehealth appointments are offered as a private service to support access for patients unable to attend in person.
Important Notice
Not all services are suitable for telehealth. Clinical appropriateness and patient safety determine whether an in-person review is required. Fee information is provided as a guide only. Final billing is determined by clinical complexity and Medicare eligibility at the time of consultation.

By booking a telehealth consultation with Tennyson Skin & Weight, you consent to receive healthcare services via secure video consultation with an AHPRA-endorsed nurse practitioner.
You acknowledge that:
Telehealth has limitations and may not be suitable for all clinical concerns
An in-person consultation may be required to ensure safe and appropriate care
You are responsible for being in a private, quiet location during your appointment
All consultations are conducted using a secure, encrypted platform. Sessions are not recorded, and no audio or video is stored. Clinical notes are documented in accordance with Australian privacy legislation, professional standards, and medical record requirements.
Where appropriate, a summary of your consultation may be shared with your nominated general practitioner to support continuity of care.
