Tennis Circle is a mobile app that helps adult tennis players find courts, mark planned play, connect with other players, and communicate through in-app messaging. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how users can contact us about privacy, account help, or account deletion.
Information We Collect
We may collect the following information when you use Tennis Circle:
- Name or display name
- Email address
- Date of birth, used to confirm that users are 18 or older
- Profile details such as gender, age range, skill level, play style, availability, city, and whether you are looking to play
- Location information used to find nearby tennis courts and players
- Search activity, such as court or location searches
- User-generated content, including court updates, planned play notes, reports, and in-app messages
- User ID or account ID
- Device push notification token and notification preferences
How We Use Information
We use this information to:
- Create and manage user accounts
- Confirm that users meet the 18+ age requirement
- Show nearby courts and location-based app features
- Help users find and connect with other tennis players
- Enable planned play, court updates, saved courts, and messaging
- Send push notifications if users allow them
- Improve safety through reporting and blocking features
- Provide account support and account deletion
User-Generated Content
Tennis Circle includes user-generated content such as messages, court updates, planned play notes, and reports. Users should not share sensitive personal information in public or shared areas of the app.
Location Information
Tennis Circle may use your device location to show nearby tennis courts and nearby players. You can control location permission through your device settings.
Messaging
Tennis Circle includes in-app messaging between users. Messages are used to provide the app’s communication features and are not used for advertising or tracking.
Push Notifications
If you allow notifications, Tennis Circle may store a device push notification token and your notification preferences so the app can send relevant alerts.
Tracking and Advertising
Tennis Circle does not use your personal information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
Third-Party Services
Tennis Circle uses Supabase to provide backend services such as authentication, database storage, messaging, profile data, and account-related features.
Data Retention
We keep user information for as long as needed to provide the app’s features, maintain safety, comply with legal obligations, or resolve support requests.
Account Deletion
Users may request account deletion from inside the app or by contacting support. Account deletion requests can be sent to: murattash17@gmail.com
When an account is deleted, we will delete or anonymize account information as required for app functionality, safety, and legal compliance.
Children
Tennis Circle is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. Users must confirm their date of birth before using the app.
Your Choices
You can update certain profile information in Account Settings. You can also control location permissions and notification permissions through your device settings.
