CTET is a national-level eligibility exam and is conducted twice a year to determine the eligibility of interested candidates for the post of teacher in Central Government schools. In both CTET Papers, two language sections are asked. Candidates can choose these languages from a list of 20 languages given to them. One of them is Telugu. Candidates who wish to teach Telugu to children from classes 1st to 8th will have to appear for the CTET exam. To teach Telugu to classes 1st to 5th, a candidate must appear for the Paper 1 exam and to teach Telugu to classes 6th to 8th, Paper 2 exam. If a candidate wishes to teach children from class 1st to 8th, then they must appear for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 to be deemed eligible for it. To ace this exam, it is important for candidates to be familiar with the CTET syllabus of each and every subject that is covered in this exam. Candidates who want to teach Telugu to students of classes 1st to 5th will have to give the CTET Paper 1 exam.
