SmartPrompter ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.
SmartPrompter requires access to your device’s camera and microphone to provide its core features:
Camera: Used to display the teleprompter overlay while recording video and to apply real-time AI effects such as Background Blur (Portrait Mode) and Green Screen.
Microphone: Used to capture audio during your video recordings.
We prioritize your privacy by ensuring that all video processing and AI calculations are performed entirely on your device.
No video frames, photos, or audio data are ever uploaded to our servers or any third-party cloud services.
The AI segmentation (background removal) happens locally using Apple's Core ML and Vision frameworks.
Local Storage: SmartPrompter does not store your videos on any external servers.
Photos Library: Upon completing a recording, the video is saved directly to your device’s Photos Library only after you grant explicit permission. Once saved, your videos are subject to your personal iCloud and Apple privacy settings.
If you subscribe to our Premium features, all transactions are processed securely by Apple’s In-App Purchase system. We do not collect or have access to your credit card information or billing addresses.
We may collect anonymous, non-identifiable technical data, such as:
Device type and OS version.
App crash reports.
This data is used solely to fix bugs and improve the app’s performance and is collected through Apple’s official developer tools.
We do not sell, trade, or share any user data with third parties. Since we do not collect personal information or store your videos, there is no data to share.
