The purpose of the Teacher Education Division is to represent those members of the Association of Educational Communication and Technology (AECT) whose interest is in the promotion of theory, research, and practice in support of the development of knowledge, skills, and dispositions of teacher educators who create effective learning environments for diverse learners through the integration of technology. The function of the Teacher Education Division is to create a professional community for its members.
Through this repository, the Teacher Education Division hopes to share professional experiences and compile an array of tested lessons that effectively integrate educational technology. These lesson plans may be useful to adopt and adapt within teacher preparation courses or applied within K-12 classrooms. The goal is to collaborate, construct, review, and refine a set of technology-integrated lessons and accompanying digital resources. As this repository grows, we anticipate hosting lessons for diverse range of grade levels and subject areas.
To better represent the vast array of technologies, learning environments, pedagogical beliefs, and contexts, we need your lessons in the repository as well! Visit our Materials Submission page to begin.
Anyone is welcome to use and adapt lessons from the repository. On the Lesson Repository Materials page, you can search the repository and use the filters to help identify specific lesson features.
Share the repository with your colleagues. Share lessons that you revised back with the TED community. Share credit with the original lesson authors by following directions on our Terms of Use page.
Special thanks to Kalianne L. Neumann for the design and development of the lesson repository, Jacob Hall for content contributions to the site, and Jason Siko, the TED board, and TED members who contributed to the idea of the lesson repository and provided user feedback on it throughout its development.
