They are today with me

My friends many from across the sea

So I shall enjoy today

Because tomorrow we may part

We will still be friends

But we no longer talk

We call for birthdays

But we grow apart

We will meet and say things haven't changed

But we know we are playing a part

You're a father and I an uncle

Our college days are long gone

I wish back then I knew what today meant

That today could be the last today
