After surviving an attempted cult sacrifice, Jason Fenix finds himself entangled in the affairs of a secret, government organization responsible for handling paranormal, esoteric and occult activity. Unable to recall the past eight months, Jason must work together with Special Agents Elijah Long and Allie Watts, in order to solve the mystery behind his missing memories.

He finds himself the unwilling employee of the Bureau of Esoteric, Paranormal and Occult. Founded in 1936, its sole mission is to protect the world from dangers and threats of the supernatural element. Like most military bases, it is supported by a small town. But in this rural Midwestern town - Uada Falls - the victims, survivors and witnesses of paranormal events live in a witness protection program devised and enforced by the EPO. Most of the world knows nothing about the paranormal and Uada Falls is a sanctuary for the unlucky people who know the truth.

The Technomancy Unit is the newest department within the branches of the EPO. Founded by two of the organization's least popular agents (Elijah & Allie), and now stuck with an inexperienced outsider, the unit must learn to work together to prove the benefits of combining science and sorcery in combatting the forces of evil.
