Techkon Spectro Connect Download
For checking the color accuracy of a SpectroDens device the Windows software SpectroConnect is used. The software is stored on the integrated USB flash memory inside the Spectro- Check color reference. It can as well be downloaded free of charge from the download area of www.techkon.com.
In order to connect to the Techkon SpectroDens or SpectroDrive devices over USB or Wifi, installation of the SDserver background service or SDserver app foreground application is required (one exception is on Macintosh, direct USB connection to the SpectroDens is possible thanks to Techkon's "Mac SDK" drivers. The server is required on Mac for Wifi connections and for the USB connection that allows configuration of wifi settings, however)
LED technology, durable and energy-saving, is used as light source. A multi-channel color sensor evaluates the measuring signal guaranteeing inter-instrument agreement with high-class spectrophotometers.
The integrated Li-Ion battery can be recharged very fast via the USB cable on any USB port and delivers energy for a few thousand measurements.
The supplied Windows-software TECHKON SpectroConnect provides the connection between SpectroDens and the PC via the micro-USB connector or via the optionally available WLAN module. The system consists of two components: The motorized measurement system scans the complete color bar on a printed sheet within seconds and simultaneously sends the spectral measurement data wirelessly to the PC where all relevant information for controlling the printing press is displayed. One unique feature of SpectroDrive is its flexibility to be used with any press type or format. TECHKON SpectroDrive is delivered as a complete turn-key system. SpectroDrive can be used as a scanning device as well as a hand-held instrument for single measurements. Just take the device from the horizontal track and position it wherever you want to take a color measurement. SpectroDrive now also features an integrated display that shows the measurement values of spot measurements directly at the device.
