Tech Explorer is a collaborative project with me and a friend, where we will share our stories, projects, opinions, and experiences related to technology.
Innovators’ Journal, a section inside Tech Explorer, is where we express ourselves to the audience through separate blog posts. It acts as a digital diary where we will share updates about the mentioned topics. In addition, we also concluded our own portfolio, where we showcase our individual projects and achievements.
Our project not only fosters creativity and critical thinking but also serves as a professional space for self-introduction and personal growth
The goal of this project is to develop a platform that highlights our skills and achievements while enabling us to engage with others who have the same passion as us. By doing this project, I wanted to take a step toward creating a professional portfolio that aligns with my future career aspirations in technology. My goal for this project is to enhance my communication, teamwork, and technical writing skills while building meaningful and creative resources that support both our personal and professional growth.

After proposing this project idea to my friend, who is also interested in the technology field. We start to brainstorm right away. After a lot of discussions, we decided to create a portfolio to showcase our project and achievements. In addition, since most of the time, we talk to each other about technology news, to expand our interest, we also decided to create a blog to share our stories and our opinions on tech topics.
After knowing what to do, we start to think about what platform we should use. After doing much research, we decided to go with the easy options, which are Google Sites and Google Blogger. The reason for that is that since neither of us don’t have much time to code and create our own website, choosing an easier option allows us to have more time to focus on the content that we want to create. Moreover, choosing an easier option also allows us to have more time to expand our coding skills, and then we can share our learning journey and the projects that we create throughout the courses, as a self-taught diary.

After completing our brainstorming and planning for the website layout, we started building the Google Sites and Blog for this project. Surprisingly, we collaborated really well, and the initial phase of designing and structuring the websites went smoothly. Since both of us had a clear vision of what we wanted to achieve, we divided tasks efficiently and made steady progress. The first part of our project was to create and design the websites, and the portfolio was completed without major challenges.
Once we finalized the portfolio section, we shifted our focus to the second phase of the project, which is our blog. As I write this, we have already posted four blog entries. The first three were mostly introductory posts - introducing ourselves, explaining the purpose of our project, and outlining what readers can expect from our content. Our fourth post was about the TikTok ban in the US, where we explored different perspectives on the issue. Researching and writing about this topic was an interesting experience, as it challenged us to think critically about government policies, data privacy, and freedom of expression in the digital age.
The challenge that we have to face when writing is the time difference (when I finish school is quite late where he is, so we mostly discuss by text), and the ways we balance our views, but still give the reader as much information as clearly and shortest way.
In addition, I have gained quite a lot of knowledge from researching and writing this blog. One of the key learning experiences that I took away from this blog is creating engaging and well-researched blog content.
Looking ahead, we plan to continue expanding the blog with more posts about technology trends, personal insights, and our daily life blog.
Discuss, evaluate, and plan student-initiated activities.
Undertake challenges that develop new skills.
